Bert Meerstadt has been exposed to all aspects of consumer data and marketing: most recently, as CEO of Baarsma Wines in e-commerce with market leaders wijnvoordeel.nl and .be, wijnbeurs.nl and .be, dieweinversand.de, .ch and .at, etc;

As CEO and chief commercial officer of NS Dutch Railways, with one of the largest customer databases of the country; as CEO of Y&R Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Y&R Group Netherlands from the marketing communications/advertising agency side and in his co-owned marketing and brand strategy boutique in marketing strategy and brand positioning after McKinsey & Company in corporate strategy, operations and organisation consulting, where he started his career, having acquired an MBA at INSEAD, Fontainebleau and a MSc (hons) at Delft University of Technology.

Bert has extensive experience as non-executive director in several industries and as board member of various non-profit organizations.
